Have you noticed…

OFF

…the colourful flowers around the school grounds!? Caitlin & Deirdre H. have been busy getting the hanging baskets and flower pots ready to go outside each of the classrooms! Each of the classes will be looking after them, watering them and dead-heading the flowers when they need to!

We have also made some hanging mobiles from old cds. You will see them hanging off some of the trees! Caitlin is gathering old cds to make more at the moment!

Thank you to everyone for playing your part and helping to keep our school grounds clean. I think you’ll agree that the grounds are looking great! The raised planting beds at the back of the school have some carrots and beetroot that were sown in the last school year and are almost ready. We can’t wait to pick them!

We have plenty of plans for keeping the plants looking as well as they do and the children will do lots of planting and weed pulling this year! We will be planting garlic, onions and lettuce in the raised beds soon!
