Mini-beasts hunt

The children in Miss S. Champkin’s 2nd class came to visit Miss L. Champkin’s Junior Infants today. The 2nd class children read stories to the Junior Infant children. Chloe and Layla also read a story to the whole class which everyone really enjoyed! Next, all of the children went on a mini-beast hunt…. we found centipedes, worms, slugs, woodlouse, spiders, ladybirds, flies, greenflies, beetles and more! We all sat in the ‘cosy corner’ of the garden afterwards and talked about the mini-beasts that we found. We are lucky to have such a lovely space in our school!
