Friendship Week & Assembly

The children celebrated friendship week in Scoil Mhuire Junior this week! It was a brilliant week full of activities to celebrate our friends… we made friendship bracelets, drew pictures of our friends, played with our friends, tried to make some new friends and learned lots of songs about friendship. 

Today we had a special friendship assembly. We had parents in speaking about their friends, we said special prayers for our friends and sang beautiful friendship songs.

We had a special surprise when Ms Kelly and her dance class danced, they were amazing!

We also awarded the classes with the attendance and green school trophies. Comparing attendance to last September and October the best attenders were as follows;

1st – Ms Champkin – Senior Infants

2nd – Ms Regan – 1st class

3rd – Ms McGrath – 1st class

4th – All 2nd classes
