Aistear; Supermarket & Hair Salon

During Aistear Junior Infants have been enjoying playing in the supermarket & hair salon. 

In the supermarket they were very busy;

writing shopping lists,

filling their basket and trolley,

been the cashier, packing bags, stacking shelves with food and not forgetting to pay with either cash or credit card!

The Hair Salon was a big hit among the girls and boys alike!

We had receptionists who were kept very busy answering the phone and writing down appointments and orders.

 

There was also a stylist, a barber and some customers.

The customers had to wait and read in the waiting area until the hairdressers and beauticians were ready. 

 

Of course the hairdressers were kept so busy with hair dryers, straighteners, curling tongs, shampoos, conditioners, gels, moose’s, hair clips, rollers and sprays.

The beauticians were very busy too, painting nails and applying make-up. 

 

 

 

 

 

They were also very busy building, playing with playdough, making jigsaws, hammering, threading and playing in the small world area and having lots of fun with water.
