The day the seagull and squirrel came to school!

OFF

We had a very enthusiastic visitor pecking on our glass classroom door in Early Start and Ms. Champkin’s Junior Infant class today.

A large seagull enthusiastically pecked his beak at the door and seemed to really want to join our classes! Not only did he peck once or twice, but throughout the day at different times. We got to take a great look at his webbed feet, hooked yellow beak as well as his (or her?!) smooth white, grey and black feathers. It must have heard how brilliant the boys and girls in our school are!

We also had a surprise guest in our school playground! Tony our caretaker spotted him and took great photos of him in our gardens. Take a look;
