She spoke to the children about the food, clothes, buildings, technology, the language and the way of life in Japan. Some children even got to dress up in beautiful kimonos. Miss Champkin dressed up in a kimono too! We learned how to say hello (konichiwa), goodbye (sayonara) and the names of some colours.<\/p>\n<p>We also got a Japanese Torii in our school gardens. This is a <span class=\"ILfuVd yZ8quc\">traditional <b>Japanese<\/b> gate.
